Cacille's Felty Family No-Pork Bacon Dish

1 box spaghetti

olive oil (2+ cups)

two tablespoons of minced/chopped garlic

1/2 small-med size onion, chopped.

1 package Turkey Bacon (NOT Jenny O's type!)

You will need 1 pot, 1 skillet, a knife, cutting board, drainer for spaghetti only, and turner.

Make the spaghetti in the pot per spaghetti directions. Do not add anything (except butter if you like) to the spaghetti. Drain spaghetti.

Unwrap entire package of turkey bacon. Cut bacon into 1 1/2" slices (you can get about 4 cuts per piece) and separate each piece as best you can. Empty bacon into skillet. Add garlic and onion. Add olive oil until you have covered 3/4 of the bacon. Heat on Medium for approx 30-45 mins, mixing/flipping the bacon and mixture until the bacon looks well cooked. The size of each strip will go down to 1" approximately and start getting a darker brown all around.

Pour mixture into bowl without draining oil. The oil is a "salad dressing". Put spaghetti on plate, then bacon mixture, with a good amount of oil, on top of the spaghetti. Enjoy.

Try it before you even begin to think that it isn't good. It sounds weird, but tastes like heaven - even if you don't like the ingredients!. Credit goes to friends of Cacille, the Felty Family, for giving her this recipe.
