I'm a social work student at OSU, future Peace Corps volunteer, daydreaming world traveler, and mother to a rabbit.

I am a clearly confused individual whose days are filled with goofing off with her refugee students when she's supposed to be teaching them English; then coming home to her thousand plants and the rabbit.

Interests: Art, drawing, photography, NYC, travel, friends, family, trying to love people, my rabbit, and adventures in mass transit.

I'm 21 years old, finishing my bachelor's in social work from Ohio State very soon. I work in three separate areas currently, one being teaching English to refugees, another being leading the university sector of a women's health organization called FEMM, and the last being working with families who have been called out by Child Protective Services on improving their parenting skills.

I mostly enjoy working with the refugees, mainly because I goof off with them while I'm supposed to be assisting in teaching them English. But, I love them because they remind me that, at the base of what human beings are, I really love people. Seriously, go play with foreigners who have basic English, it'll restore your faith in the human spirit.

Once I finally escape the personal hell that is this school, I'm moving to my spirit homeland of New York, where I will stop being a frequent guest and make my temporary home, hopefully with an internship at WYO with the United Nations. I also want to return to art school in NYC, I left art school to be a social worker, not that I regret that decision. I'm dying to be in the Peace Corps after I spend my time in New York, hopefully on a pacific island, like Micronesia or Tonga.
