Flat roofs are completely different from steep roofs. Water can easily diminish steep roofs and also drop to the drainpipe. However that is not the scenario on flat roofs. The entire flat roof needs to have a level of watertight tape so that water can not come by means of the roof as well as trigger leaks in the house.
