Ace is a popular nickname for an Asexual person. It is a phonetic shortening of "asexual", and has lead to some symbolism regarding the playing card "ace". Some asexuals use the Ace of Spades or Ace of Hearts to represent their orientation. The Ace of Hearts is more commonly used for romantic-A's, whereas a more reserved Ace generally uses the Spade. |
