BBC Radio 5 live (commonly known as Five Live) is a live news radio station broadcasted in the United Kingdom by the national public service broadcaster, the BBC.


A live discussion regarding the New Scientist article was broadcast on October 14th 2004 at 10pm, featuring Tony Boegart and Philip Hodson alongside AVEN member Kenstra. Stephen Nolan's show included a live interview with AVEN member The SMMG, broadcast on the 17th of November 2006, in which asexuality was discussed.

A follow-up to the BBC3 documentary, How Sex Works, was broadcast on the 18th of January 2012, in which host Nicky Campbell interviews a member of AVEN. Later in July 2012, the Tony Livesey program featured an interview with Anthony Bogaert and michaeld.
