This is a list of all former Project Team members on AVEN, since July 2006.

The idea of a Project Team was first though up by David Jay, back in June of 2006. Prior to this, AVEN had purely been more of a forum-centric kind of thing. There had been little focus on organizational structures up until this point (excluding this one event), David Jay had pretty much lead every project up until this point, with the occasional volunteers. There was no structured organization beyond the Moderating team, which had been selected by DJ. (Interestingly enough, DJ had raised the PT idea just months before the very first Admod elections took place).

The nominations were opened on the 9th of June 2006 by AVENguy, less than a week after he proposed the idea. The nominees were required to send in their nominations via eMail or PM to AVENguy or Cashew (who was an admin a the time). AVENguy had originally sought to set up a temporary forum for the voting process (due to an error with phpBB's poll software) This forum continues to exist as the Elections Forum.

2006/2007 (First Team)

By December 2006, when the first 6-month re-election should have taken place, a majority of the team had stepped down from their position. Only Hallucigenia and Triple-A were active team members at this point.

The 5 positions were advertised. However, only 5 members had nominated themselves, thus the 6-month re-elections were not held. The following members were appointed as temporary team members

2007/2008 (First period)

There was a period of uncertainty between February and May 2007, before the issue was raised by Cashew on the 23rd of May 2007. This sparked a large, heated debate, which proved to be too much for Triple A, who had decided to resign later that day. This was a huge blow to the Project Team, leaving Hallucegenia as the only regularly active member.

This is somewhat relevant, the state of the Project Team was discussed and voted on, the majority had voted in favor of Open up the Project Team forum to everyone and immediately hold an election for one or more Project Team moderators, who will remain nominally separate from the rest of the admod team and arbitrate project decisions., giving birth to the current Project Team structure.

The team had discussed the periods during October, it was decided that the period served should be increased from 6 months to 1 year.

The next re-elections took place during August of 2010.Nominations were being taken in Announcements this time, as opposed to Visibility & Education. Combined roles were common at this point, EGD had ran for the JFF mod spot on 8th of November 2009, GoAllyGoGo had ran for the Announcements and Gender Forum mod sports on the 10th of March 2010, and ...but there are sounds had ran for World Watch & Asexual Relationships earlier, on the 20th of July 2010. All three had won their elections, giving them combined roles.

2010/2011 (Sixth period)

In early 2011, the admods had decided to scrap combined roles. If a mod seeks to run for a PT position, they are required to give up their moderating position, and vice versa. It was also later decided, during September 2011, that the period between re-elections be increased from 1 year to 2 years.

2011/2013 (Seventh period)
