Transphobia

Transphobia is a hatred or fear of transgender people, that is self-defined women in men's bodies or men in women's bodies.

Transgendered people are often persecuted. Many people feel that being transgendered is a violation of some "divine order" or "the way things are". Bashing of trans-people can include different forms of aggression, from ridiculing to serious crimes such as rape or murder.
