Transsexual

A transsexual is an individual who identifies with a physical sex (i.e. male or female) different from the one that they were born with. They are a kind of Transgender, and wish to be accepted as their gender, rather than sex, by society. Many take Hormone Replacement Therapy, and some may have a sex change operation as their final step.
