Cate Perfect joined AVEN in May of 2003*, two weeks before her 25th birthday. She was an active member, was on the media team and did television and print interviews in England, Portugal, France, Brazil and the U.S. She was also a moderator and later became the first permanent admin.

After being romantically involved with a (no longer active, nor asexual**) female member of AVEN for several months they broke up. Over the following months, Cate became close friends with Liverlicker2003 (see Live R Perfect); they began dating in 2005 and married in 2006. Proving that asexuals aren't condemned to a life alone and that they can indeed get around with their asexy selves.
