SpirallingSnowy is a 24yr old Australian member of AVEN. She is a moderator and a member of Project Team, however that is temporary as it is only usually possible to be a member of one of these. She has several AVEN friends she knows in real life, including the person who introduced her to AVEN from a different forum.

Interests: Music, psychology, medicine, rugby league, cars, watching Aussies kick ass at sport, animals ( i have a Dalmatian weee!!), swimming, reading, managing a mental health website, volunteering at a local dog shelter, Research ( of the scientific variety).

When i was young, I had very few friends. my best friend in yr 1 deserted me cos he got teased cos he had a girl as a best friend... my two best friends that i got next used to pick on me, but hey, atleast i got attention. I was always the emotiona punching bag....i changed schools cos we moved and i thought that maybe i could make new friends. copped worse torment and bullying ni the new school, but i made 2 more friends and they whappeend to be the most picked on girls, and the yr below me. Im still very good friends with one of them, Lonney to this day :) when i was in yr 5, the most popular girl ( who bullied me the most) wrote a musical... there was a part for each of the 9 girls in our yr in our composite class. i was given the part of the slave. yet, knowing i could sing, i had to sing " good king wenchlus" in front of the entire school by myself. high school.... best friends were in the yr below me so they wernt there in yr7. made some friends that i still have today that still dont understand me. had so many friends come and go, so many people promise me so many things and its jsut a whole stupid mess.

i never fitted in. the only way i fitted in was wtih people in yrs below me.... i have one friend from school my age but i know shes jsut as immature as me. these friends all had their own problems too, parents, siblings, friends, boys etc... we all fitted together cos we didnt fitt in... i finally felt wanted. but i was more a mother figure. and in my own year, it was hell. alone in every subject, , in yr 11 i got kicked out of my englinh table cos one of them hated me. i dint got to yr12 graduation. I made a promise to myself to not have sex till i turned 18, and even then i didnt really want it. So many girls in my year at school were soooo skanky and trashy and i didnt want to be like them.

Instead of being a rebellious teenager, i was a rebellious young adult. I had a multitude of issues to deal with that im still dealing with these days, albeit the worst times are few and far between, much to the happiness of family and friends. Diagnosed with ADHD, GAD, Depression and Social Anxiety certainly doesnt gain you friends, but i do have some very good friends now.

These days, life is alot more settled, ive just gotten into uni in Sydney for the first time, and trust me, thats a big acheivement! Im doing what ive wanted to do since i was 11, and thats medical science.

Ive been a memeber of AVEN since Nov 2005, when a friend i had made and met in RL on a different forum told me about the board she was a admin on. I came over to see it and havent left since then!!!!

At this point im in a unique position because i am a member of Project Team and also a moderator of Hot Box.
